I am a visual artist based at Drawing Projects UK near Bath UK (DPUK) a contemporary drawing centre and gallery where I have a studio. Recent research topics explore identity and layers of human interaction, as well as dislocation, displacement and exile.

Borderland

A series of intaglio print works and collage that navigate loss and discomfort shown at Two Bedford Street Stroud, June 2024 during Site Festival, and an installation at Walcot Chapel in Bath, Oct-Nov 2024.

UNDERTOW

A year-long research residency and solo exhibition funded by Arts Council England at RISE Frome (a 200-year old chapel now a cultural centre and The Whittox Gallery) Oct 2022-Nov 2023.

The project explored layers of human interaction in relation to RISE's archives as well as considering human displacement today through large-scale print work, a video and a site-specific 100-piece visual/text installation

The Anxiety of Interdisciplinarity 2

A curated group exhibition @artatarb University of Cambridge which sought to reframe printmaking as a site of interdisciplinarity ‘a testing ground for ‘the important work...done at the surfaces between adjacent disciplines’ (Carter, 1998) Sept-Nov 2023.

Solo exhibition Drawing Projects UK included print and collage works that reflected on the origins of Bristol’s wealth and power Oct-Nov 2021

HOUSE

3-month residency, a collaboration between 3 artists exploring themes of loss, displacement and exile resulting in large-scale installations and intimate works in a large Victorian house in Clifton Bristol. HOUSE opened to the public with an online presence on Instagram. My work reflected on the origins of Bristol’s wealth and power and role in the Atlantic Slave Trade June-Sept 2021

A curated group exhibition in Oct 2020 by Press Play a year-long group project developed to sustain working practice and develop research strategies Spike Print Bristol 2019-2020.
